Your Acceptance
Welcome to the Terms of Use for Edumentor.pro website and any services provided by the website, or otherwise provided online or offline by Edumentor (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). This is an agreement (“Agreement”) between Edumentor, Inc. (“Edumentor"), the owner and operator of the Platform and you (“you”, “your” or “user(s)”), a user of the Platform.
Throughout this Agreement, the words “Edumentor,” “us,” “we,” and “our,” refer to our company, Edumentor, Inc., as is appropriate in the context of the use of the words. By clicking “I agree” or accessing the Platform you agree to be bound by this Agreement and the Edumentor Privacy Policy.
Portions of the Platform may require you to create a login or sign-up for an account. You must fully complete the registration process by providing us with your current, complete, truthful, and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. Where required, Edumentor may also assign you a username and password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and for any and all activities that occur under your account, whether performed by you or another person.
The Parties
1.1 The Student: The customer or person for whom the mediation is being performed, who has accepted the terms and conditions by returning the application form to Edumentor by email.
1.2 Affiliated University: Every university that has been in contact with Edumentor, intending to realize a study program for the student.
1.3 Edumentor: The consultant and mediatory organization between the student and the university, assisting by advising, informing, and mediating to realize a contract between the student and the affiliated university.
1.4 External Organizations: Service providers worldwide that provide additional services to EduMentor, including accommodation and travel agencies.
General
2.1 The terms and conditions are available on the website: www.edumentor.pro.
2.2 The terms and conditions can be saved or printed by right-clicking on the text and choosing ‘print.’
2.3 The terms and conditions can be requested at any time by emailing info@edumentor.pro or contacting your consultant.
2.4 Edumentor and the student agree to collaborate based on the terms and conditions and the prices shown on the website.
2.5 Edumentor is not responsible for any extra costs incurred by the student via external organizations, whether or not caused by price increases.
2.6 Edumentor is not responsible for costs incurred due to the preparation for the study program, such as transportation, visa, insurances, or accommodation.
2.7 Edumentor is only liable for demonstrable damage suffered directly by the student, excluding loss of profit, trading loss, image damage, and injury damage.
2.8 The student agrees that all communication, including invoices, is conducted via email or website and is responsible for ensuring receipt.
The Procedure
3.1.1 After the student fills out the contact form or contacts Edumentor, detailed information regarding registration will be provided.
3.1.2 The student receives a registration form, templates for a CV and cover letter, and a checklist outlining Edumentor's services.
3.1.3 The forwarded information must be considered a quotation for a specific service at the student's request.
3.2.1 Questions or comments can be directed to Edumentor via email or the contact form on the website.
3.2.2 By returning the registration material, the student confirms understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions.
3.2.3 No agreement is formed until the terms and conditions are accepted.
3.3 The student is responsible for the accurate completion of all forms.
3.4 It is recommended to register at least two months before the study program start date or contact Edumentor for shorter-term options.
3.5.1 The study programs provided by EduMentor are intended for students aged 18 or older on the start date.
3.5.2 Students under 18 must obtain permission from a parent or guardian.
3.5.3 Procedures will be followed in consultation with the parent or guardian.
3.5.4 At least one parent/guardian must sign and agree to the terms and conditions.
3.6 Students registering with friends will be treated as separate registrations, with no guarantee of placement in the same university.
3.7 Students must be available for interviews throughout the procedure, considering time differences and scheduling conflicts.
Qualification Process
4.1.1 The qualification process depends on the quality and content of the application material submitted.
4.1.2 Edumentor reserves the right to request references from the student.
4.1.3 Selection criteria include academic performance, extracurricular activities, work experience, and experiences abroad.
4.2 If the student does not meet the necessary qualifications, EduMentor will inform the student.
4.3.1 If the application material is insufficient or incomplete, EduMentor will notify the student.
4.3.2 If the student qualifies, Edumentor will proceed with the application procedure.
4.4.1 Edumentor may format the registration material and make minor adjustments to improve the process.
4.4.2 Significant revisions will occur after the application material is accepted.
Deadlines
5.1 The student can indicate a deadline for Edumentor to find a study program.
5.2 The deadline must be at least one month (4 weeks).
5.3 The deadline starts once Edumentor accepts the application material.
5.4 Adjustments to application material may delay the procedure and extend the deadline.
5.5 A longer deadline can increase the chances of finding a suitable study program.
Refund
6.1 If EduMentor does not find a study program before the deadline, the student may receive a refund, minus administrative costs.
6.2 No refund will be provided if the deadline is shorter than one month.
6.3 No refund will be given for cancellations not related to serious illness or family matters.
6.4 Students must notify EduMentor immediately in cases of serious health issues or family matters.
Mediation Agreement
7.1 Edumentor can cancel the mediation agreement if the student does not respond within five days.
7.2 Students must report unavailability in advance.
7.3 Cancellations for reasons not specified will not result in a refund.
Acceptance Criteria
8.1 Students must clearly state reasons for rejecting a proposed study program.
8.2 EduMentor mediates for up to three suitable study program proposals included in the service.
8.3 EduMentor is not responsible for agreements between the student and the affiliated university.
Payment
9.1 The student purchase a service package or a custom package before Edumentor starts working on the student's case.
9.2 The package price reflects the total price of the service, and includes all the described services.
9.3 The payment can be done offline by a bank transfer or through a website, using a third-party provider.
Travel Documents
10.1 The student is responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents.
10.2 Edumentor will provide information but is not liable for any issues arising from incorrect or missing documents.
Contract Between University and Student
11.1 Edumentor assists with signing the study program contracts.
11.2 Students must inform EduMentor of any changes to the contract.
11.3 Edumentor will assist in finding a new study program if significant changes occur.
Termination by University
12.1 If the study program is terminated due to student behavior, Edumentor has no further obligations.
12.2 If terminated due to university reasons, Edumentor will find a new study program at no additional cost.
Additional Services
13.1 Edumentor mediates study programs and provides additional advice on visas, accommodation, and travel.
13.2 Edumentor is not liable for legal consequences or costs arising from the mediation.
13.3 Edumentor does not guarantee placement but has a high success rate.
13.4 All complaints must be reported immediately for resolution.
Legal Obligations and Other Rights
14.1 Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Edumentor operates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in accordance with applicable laws.
14.2 Rights and Responsibilities: Both parties have the right to uphold the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. Edumentor has the right to refuse service based on incomplete or misleading information provided by the student.
14.3 Confidentiality: Edumentor will treat all student information as confidential and will not disclose personal data to third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.
14.4 Intellectual Property: All materials provided by Edumentor, including but not limited to templates, guides, and documentation, remain the intellectual property of Edumentor and are provided solely for the student's personal use.
14.5 Force Majeure: Edumentor is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms if such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, or other unforeseen events.
14.6 Amendments: Edumentor reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the student via email or through the website, and continued use of Edumentor’s services will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
14.7 Severability: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14.8 Waiver: Any failure by Edumentor to enforce any right or provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
You understand that we do not endorse any third-party products or services or the information provided by them, whether through the Platform or otherwise. As such, we are not liable for your use of any third-party products or services, or for any harm or losses resulting from such use. Please direct any inquiries about third-party services to the respective providers.
By using our Platform, you release Edumentor and our licensors from any past, present, or future claims, liabilities, or damages—known or unknown—arising from your interactions with these third parties and their offerings.
